After taking a sabbatical, Rajinikanth made an impressive come back with the psychological thriller ‘Chandramukhi’, a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Manichitrathazhu’, directed by Fazil. The Tamil version helmed by P Vasu received a fantastic response from the audience and became a monstrous success at the worldwide box-office. The film revolves around a woman suffering from dissociative identity disorder that affects a family. Saravanan (Rajinikanth), a psychiatrist, arrives to rescue the case.
